The Beginners Course

Saturday 7th September - 15th September

(4 hours over 2 weekends)

Gain Confidence, understanding of poses, knowledge of breath and start to understand what Yoga truly is and why millions of people all over the world practice yoga.

The Beginners Courses are designed to introduce you to yoga in small class groups that allows individual attention and with other people that are all in the same boat.  

You will learn a set of poses (asanas) that you can do comfortably as a beginner but still take through to an advanced practice.  Attention to detail around how the body moves into and out of each pose as well as how the muscles and ligaments elongate will be key to establishing your practice.

Yoga is about working at your own pace and teaching your mind to listen to your body and vice versa.

What the Course covers:

  • A sequence of Yoga Poses to strengthen the shoulders and back

  • A sequence of abdominal poses to strengthen the core muscles and the back

  • Integration of the importance of the breath plus 3 specific breathing techniques for a healthy body and mind.

  • The connection of body movement, posture and breathing

Over the course, you will learn to understand this correlation and gain the confidence and body awareness to go into any Yoga class that you choose

The Beginners course will run over 2 weekends - Saturday 7th September 9.30am - 11.30am and Sunday 15th September 9.30am - 11.30am

The Total Cost of the Course $85.00

Held at: Peregian Beach Community House David Low Way, Pereigan Beach.
